The room is available January 1, 2026 through April 30, 2026 (with an option to renew for a full year lease at the end of April).
• Rent is $770/month
• This would be a Sublet lease for 4 months (Jan–Apr 2026), with potential to renew for a year in April.
• Move-in: Late December / January 1 (Up for negotiation, depending on when my current roommate leaves)
• There is a Security deposit required of $500
• Utilities are included
• You should be able to provide paystubs as proof of income / employment
My current roommate is moving out in December (exact date TBC) so ideally looking for someone to move in December 31/January 1. There's a chance the room will be available earlier in December, but we can discuss.
Your room is a spacious master suite in a 2 bedroom apartment with a private bath & walk in closet. There is plenty of room for a Queen or King Size Bed, a desk, small couch, bookshelf - the room is very big. There is an in-unit washer and dryer in the apartment + a dishwasher, stainless steel refrigerator, air fryer, Keurig Coffee maker and a microwave. There is an in-unit air conditioner/heater (electric) in the bedrooms and living room. There is also a balcony off the living room.
The building is relatively new (made up of condos and apartments). There is an elevator (which is great, since we're on the 6th floor). The building is about a 10 minute walk from Mt. Sinai Hospital and Central Park. There are tons of restaurants and bars around and there's a super convenient grocery store right downstairs. It's also half a block away from the 6 Train (103rd Street).
A little about me...I am lady in my 40s, working in the music industry. I work from home for the most part. I have a social life but just as equally enjoy a night in with Netflix and some takeout.
