Hi, I have one bedroom available in a 2-bedroom apartment in Washington Heights. I (34 M) have lived here for 4 years; I am re-signing the lease for a 5th year and looking for someone to sign onto the lease with me starting September 1. It is possible that the move-in could be flexible around that time.

This might be a good fit for someone moving to the city or someone with not too much furniture; the room is furnished with a full bed, a dresser, and a mini-desk table thing. You could use all of these if you wanted. I'm hoping to find someone who wants to use at least the bed and the dresser so I don't have to move them out, but if you're bringing your own, I'm open to finding a new home for the old stuff.

It's a good apartment; I like it a lot. Lots of sunlight. Pretty spacious by Manhattan standards. Laundry in the basement. Good, responsive super. And the building is well-located -- it is near the intersection of 181st and Bennett Ave, between the A train and the 1 train. Also very close to several bus lines that run between Manhattan and the Bronx, as well as GWB bus terminal if you want to get out to NJ. Beautiful, hilly area. Bennett Park, Fort Tryon Park, Columbia Hospital are all notable landmarks nearby.

There are three photos of the room as you can see (I am sorry about the mess! I am going through a bunch of old clothes, etc.), as well as one each of the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and entrance hallway.
