Hello! I'm looking for someone to move into my room when I move out around December 5th (December would be prorated for this). There are still about 5 months left on the lease so ideally looking for someone to stay longterm and sign the lease when it renews.

The apartment is in Chinatown, on Chrystie Street right off the Grand B/D stop, directly across from Sarah D Roosevelt Park. It’s on the 2nd floor of a 5 story building, up one flight of stairs, and has a buzzer for the front door to buzz people in. The apt is about 900sqft with a sizeable shared living space, 3 bedroom/1 bathroom.

The apartment is sweet cozy vibes, fully furnished and decorated in the common spaces. It has hardwood floors, good kitchen appliances, warm lighting.

There are amazing produce stands down the street, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Hong Kong supermarket, target, and other groceries all within ~10 min walk. Truly endless restaurants and bars and coffee shops all around, two libraries nearby. The apartment is directly across from a park with a track, basketball courts, playground, and about a 10 minute walk from another park with more basketball courts and volleyball.

The apartment is a 2 minute walk from the B/D, a 6 minute walk from the J, and a 10 minute walk from the N/Q/R/W and 4/6 trains.

The available bedroom will be furnished with a full-size bed and other furniture (can give specifics if interested). It has a large window that faces the building air shaft so it’s not very sunny in that bedroom, more cozy shaded. High ceilings in the bedrooms and throughout the apt.

The two roommates are Adam (they/them) and Jo (they/them), both in their twenties. Adam and Jo each are creative and spend their time making ceramics, making films, cooking, reading, and working, among other things. They’re both outgoing, personable, and have lots of things going on either at home or out and about. The apartment is kept generally clean as everyone tidies up after themselves and shares general chores.

It’s truly an amazing home and a great place to live, with great people.

The rent is $865/month + utilities (about $100/month).
