💰 Rent: $2,150/month (all-inclusive)
📅 Available: Flexible move-in; long-term preferred (minimum 3 months, 1 year or longer preferred)
👤 Occupancy: Single only; no pets (overnight guests are fine as long as the visitor has residency of their own)
💵 Deposit: One month’s rent + first month (plus any prorated days) — cash only
🆓 Fee: No broker fee

🏠 The Apartment
Located in a safe, quiet, pre-war multi-elevator building with 24/7 doorman and security, on the 15th floor with stunning views of the Empire State Building and partial views of the Hudson River.
High above street level and with very thick walls — ideal for musicians.
You’ll have:
• Your own private, lockable bedroom (12'9" x 24'5")
• Your own private entrance — both to the apartment and to your room
• A bright, fully furnished room, in a layout that gives you nearly 2/3 of the apartment — it’s like having your own one-bedroom apartment within a larger one (approx. 1000 sq ft total)
Shared spaces: kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. Our rooms are at opposite ends, separated by a kitchen and hallway, offering privacy and quiet.

🎵 A Musician’s Dream (Especially for Pianists)
If you’re a classical pianist, musician, or music lover, this is a dream place that’s nearly impossible to find:
• Practice any time, 24/7, on a beautifully rebuilt Steinway O grand piano (by Klavierhaus)
• Use the room for private practice, teaching, rehearsals, or even chamber music gatherings or concerts
• I’m male, professional concert violinist, and professor. You likely won’t hear or see me much — and won’t hear me at all unless the doors are open.

👤 Whom I’m Looking For
• Musician, or at least someone who will appreciate having one of the best Steinway grand in the room, who is clean, responsible, respectful
• Interns, students (including INTERNATIONAL), musicians, dream for pianists, all welcome. (I am internationally recognized classical concert violinist and professor, but you won’t hear me, if you close your door).
• No smoking (of any kind) and no illegal drugs
• Shoes off inside is required
• Female preferred but not a must. Our rooms are completely separated (opposite ends of the apartment, with the kitchen and bathroom hallway in between), and you'll have your own private entrance for maximum privacy. You will rarely see or hear me. Please provide:
• A brief introduction
