We are seeking a motivated Driver / Carpenter Helper to join our team for projects across NYC, Westchester, and Long Island. This is a vital support role: you will be responsible for material logistics in the morning and working alongside our Lead Carpenters on-site for the rest of the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving: Operate the company van to pick up tools, materials, and equipment from suppliers/storage and deliver them to job sites.
Site Support: Assist with framing (wood/metal), drywall hanging, and installations (windows/doors).
Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe.
Loading/Unloading: Heavy lifting is required daily to load/unload the van and move materials.
Requirements:
Driving: Must have a Valid/Clean Driver’s License (subject to insurance check).
Compliance: OSHA 30 / SST 40 Card is mandatory. No exceptions.
Experience: 1–2 years of residential construction or remodeling experience preferred.
Reliability: You show up on time, every time. No "no-shows."
Tools: Must have your own basic hand tools (tape measure, hammer, tool belt, etc.).
Compensation & Terms:
Pay: $20 – $25 / hour (Based on experience).
Payment: W2 via Payroll Company only. Weekly pay. (No 1099 / No Cash).
Growth: This is a great role for someone looking to learn the trade and move up to a Junior Carpenter position.
