It could be repaired.
car has 250,000 miles on it and is the sport model with towing capacity
The car has a long list of great parts that can be used as it was well maintained:
- tires are only 8 months old
- new rear brakes and rotors that have just been replaced in Feb.
- wiper blade motor replaced 4 years ago
- new front sway bar
- new front shocks
- gas tank is newer and was replaced 3 years ago
- new rear struts added in Feb 2026
-new tie rods in Feb 2026
- new valve gasket cover 1 year old
- new drive shaft just added in Feb.
- the body is in very good overall condition
- interior is in good shape as well
- muffler is a year old
- great rear lights plastic is clean
- spark plug coil repalced 3 years ago
- spark plugs replaced 7/2025
- alternator assembly replaced 2021
- battery replaced 2020
- spare tire is a new full sized tire!
- engine in only 14 years old Toyota had put a new engine in the car when I bought it from them so might have some useable parts even still.
Just put $1600 worth of work in Feb 2026
The car would have to be towed to you as it won't start but can help arrange that locally in NYC/Westchester
