Vintage 1980s Gretsch USA Custom Drum Kit - $1,699 (Yonkers)

General condition notes:
- All mounting hardware (tom brackets, tom to kick mount w/ post, floor tom leg brackets / legs and kick drum bracket / legs were professionally replaced with Rogers Memriloc hardware from the same era (the “Gretsch-Rogers Hybrid” was very common drum set modification of those times, as Gretsch hardware was considered unreliable)
- Lacquer is in very good overall shape with some scratching, primarily on the back sides of rack toms
- All edges are good
- Internal mufflers (reso and batter) were removed from all toms, holes remain unplugged
- Original hoops on all drums - wooden hoops on kick, die-cast on toms
- All heads in good condition
- Some tension rods not original
24x14 kick drum - model number 4269W, serial number 102088:
- Some visible wear and discoloration on both hoops
- Some scratching and adhesive residue on Silver Sealer interior (bottom part)
- Reso side has brand new modern Gretsch T-rods, batter has the original ones (they are practically identical)
- A couple of batter side T-rods are very slightly dented (screw in and tune up just fine, not visibly noticable)
18x16 floor tom - model number 4419W, serial 103686:
- All holes from original leg mounting brackets were plugged
- There’s some writing and paint on the leg brackets
- Tension rods on leg memory locks not original
- One floor tom leg rubber foot not original Rogers
15x12 rack tom - model number 4421W, serial 61022:
- Has a different (earlier) Stop Sign badge, which was common during the transition period of the late 1970s and early 1980s. According to my research, the kit was likely a factory-matched set put together right as the badge design was being updated at the factory
- Mild scratching present on back side (facing drummer)
14x10 rack tom - model number 4420W, serial 101094:
- Visible scratching present on back side (facing drummer)
- Most chrome on bracket has peeled off
