This is a beautiful, pristine, very versatile Telecaster. The bridge single coil gives you all the classic Tele tones, and the neck humbucker opens up all sorts of possibilities (blues, jazz, rock, you name it). I searched this guitar over, and I could only find one very small ding, which is only visible if you look at it from a certain angle (I've circled that very small ding in one of the pictures). Otherwise, this thing is mint. The frets are perfect. I had this professionally set up at a local guitar shop, and it plays and sounds great. Currently set up with flat wound D'Addarios (if you haven't played flats on a Tele, you are missing out). Nitro neck, glossy mocha body, made in the USA. The neck has a comfortable modern C shape with a 9.5 in radius.
So, why am I selling it? Well, I have small kids and I don't trust them around a guitar this nice. Which means it mostly lives in its case (the original hard shell Fender case as well as all case candy is also included). This gorgeous riff machine deserves to be played, and I'm just not in the right stage of my life to own it. Once the kids get older/more trustworthy, I'll probably buy another just like it, but for now I want it to have a good home where it can be appreciated.
I'm listing this for $1,400, which is well below the new price for this almost new guitar. I'm also listing this on Reverb (for more), but I'd rather sell it to someone local so I'm asking less here than I would on Reverb. The serial # is pictured, and you can look up all the other details on the Fender serial number lookup site, but please reach out with any questions.
