This listing is for a Dave Smith Prophet 08 PE in very good condition. It was bought new in 2015 and has been used exclusively in my smoke-free personal composition studio. Never gigged with. This synth sounds amazing and even with all of my great software instruments, there is something very distinctly analog and alive that comes through when recording this thing.

It is overall in great condition and works perfectly. The keys have a slight yellowing towards the right side of the keyboard; maybe this was due to sunlight or just a natural effect over time, but as you can see from the photos it’s quite mild, and certainly doesn’t affect functioning.

I’m throwing in a free M-Audio MIDI USB 1x1 interface, since this keyboard does not have native USB out. This is plug and play, so it allows for easy connection to a computer. I’m also including the original power supply, and have packaged this keyboard in its original box with plenty of bubble wrap.

As a policy, I meet Craigslist buyers on my front porch, and cannot invite buyers into my studio to test out the gear; however I have tested it prior to listing it, and if you try it out after purchasing and find that for some reason it does not match the listed description, I will offer a refund without hassle.

Cash preferred, but I can do Venmo/PayPal if you cover the business transaction fee (3%) which they charge to protect buyers and sellers.
