Fitted with powerful yet articulate Ibanez branded pups, this one is an absolute pocket rocket when cranked! Yet versatile for all genre’s.
Featuring a bolt-on maple neck with a 12" radius and a nicely grained and rich and deep rosewood fingerboard, the back of the neck is finished in a polished finish to keep playability fast. 24 medium frets are in great shape showing only minimal wear with tons of playability for the foreseeable road ahead. The neck is on the slimmer side making it perfect for fast runs and easy chords.
Equipped with a wonderfully balanced set of Ibanez humbuckers, which offer an useably diverse dynamic range. Featuring two pickups in one (push-push controls), the two IBZ H’s house separate preamps and coils for a custom humbucker and single coil sound at your fingertips. Loaded with Alnico V magnets, the humbucker sound is rich, warm and powerful, but still clear and articulate, delivering the traditional Strat single coil sound: bright, airy, and chimey.
In either mode, the clean sound is gorgeously pristine and has a lot of presence. Hard rock to jazz or wherever you styling Mose takes you, you can get it all (and get it now) with these beautifully balanced and versatile pickups.
Professionally serviced and setup with 10-46s and the Pro Rock'r tremolo calibrated perfectly for standard tuning, this Roadstar II is ready to shred out of the case with a smooth, low action, a straight neck and perfect intonation.
A well kept and sparingly played closet classic, condition wise, this guitar has had the zero modifications. All in all, enviable original and in excellent shape for a 41-year old instrument. Yup, there’s precious few dings here and there. But let’s call it honest "humble wear" and this RS525PH is free from any structural issues.
