Boutique plaintiffs’ personal injury/medical malpractice law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its White Plains office with 1+ years of litigation experience to represent plaintiffs in Personal Injury/Medical Malpractice matters. You will learn and grow, with an opportunity to develop your own practice.
Responsibilities Include:
• Meeting with Clients
• Attending virtual and in person discovery conferences and settlement conferences
• Reviewing records in preparation for depositions
• Preparing clients for depositions
• Representing plaintiffs in a variety of medical malpractice and personal injury depositions
• Second seating senior partner for depositions of defendants in medical malpractice actions
• Second seating senior partner at trial;
• Preparing witnesses for trial
• Legal document review and preparation
• Securing medical experts
• Legal research and motion practice
• Preparing and reviewing essential documents required for successful prosecution of plaintiffs’ injury cases
• Opportunity to develop own case inventory

Requirements & Qualifications
• Accredited Law degree
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a law firm or legal practice
• Strong legal knowledge
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
• Strong client service orientation
• Ability to prioritize work
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Salary: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
