Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Salvaging Assistant to join our dynamic team on various salvage sites. In this role, you will play a vital part through hands-on salvage efforts, supporting our extraction team and safely transporting pieces from salvage sites to our facilities.
Carpentry skills, clear communication and practical solutions to common problems are all part of the job. Interest in architecture and preservation is helpful. Good driving record and ability to help lift things is important.

Duties:
Assist with the disassembly, removal, and cataloging of salvaged architectural components such as doors, windows, moldings, fixtures, and decorative elements.
Safely extract and transport pieces from the salvage site to our operating facilities.
Support in planning salvage operations by helping with scheduling and logistics coordination.
Adherence to safety standards.
Maintain records of salvaged materials for documentation purposes.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of construction processes and carpentry skills
Team oriented and collaborative
Ability to work safely in a construction environment while handling tools and salvaged materials responsibly
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and record keeping
Passion for sustainable building practices and architectural preservation is a plus
