This dreamy folk art original work hails from the 1940s-50s. I call it Pastel Homes. For lovers of primitive or Fauvist works, this may do the trick. Lush brushwork and texture. Oil on canvas, cool tones, soft lines. Houses surrounded by a wooded landscape with mountains off in the distance. The stuff of fairytales perhaps.
