We are an Italian couple with decades of gardening experience providing smaller gardens design, installation, light landscaping and maintenance services. Also rock gardens. Perennials, flowering shrubs, smaller trees, roses, orchids and veggies. Our own informal garden was featured in the "New Rochelle Hidden Gardens Tour" organized by the Garden Club of New Rochelle. Come visit.
We installed, maintain and continuously expand the garden of a large, beautiful Summer camp where we teach gardening to young children. It includes a 24x40' fenced-in inner garden where we grow flowers, aromatic herbs and veggies that the children love to eat raw. This includes edible flowers, strawberries, blueberries, varieties of small tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, spinach, pees, basil, mint and more. The remaining, larger area includes a gazebo for creative activities when raining, two rock gardens, a growing number of specialized flower beds (so far, hummingbird, butterfly and wildflowers beds), and a bird-watching area with feeders and bath all built with the children's involvement.
