Not to be confused with the Sony K-series, which should not be mistaken for Sony’s regular consumer models. They were produced following the success of this limited X-series line. While the K-series are excellent speakers (and often underrated), the X-series offers even higher build quality and refinement. Sony scaled back the K-series due to the high manufacturing cost of the X-series, resulting in a limited production run. These X-series speakers are difficult to find—especially in this condition.
