Condition:
From an estate of a collector. The unit is overall nice and clean. wood cabinet has a few marks and veneer loss as shown, metal chassis has typical wear and some areas of pitting as shown. Top knobs are missing their brass cover.
Tested: Initially brought up slowly on a variac, the unit came to life and in my opinion sounded fantastic, I experienced crisp clear accurate audio, and found it to be very musical very much like the Marantz 8b i have currently listed. All tubes except output are Fisher, the output tubes are Sylvania. I recommend that due to its advanced age to unit will require routine service/restoration.
