The model 8 stereo amplifier is essentially two 30 watt model 5 units in one compact chassis, and features the same high quality of performance.
All connections are made on the rear, making it ideally suited to exposed installation (for example bookshelves, room dividers etc).
With its optional grille snapped in place, it presents a smooth, uncluttered appearance with all tubes and wires hidden from view.
A simple built-in metered test provides assurance of correct operation.

CONDITION:
This unit is part of a estate of a collector, it is unit 1 of 5. The condition is clean, the finish has some areas of surface rust as shown, el34 tube sockets have some tiny chips on top center. In my opinion displays beautifully.
TESTED:
The unit was brought up slowly on a variac and listened to for many hours, it sounded crisp, clear, and accurate. The tube compliment I believe are all new old stock? and in their original boxes, I tested each one on a Sencore Mighty Mite tube tester all were strong. I didn't see any signs of restoration or repair on this unit, so I'm going to say its all original. Due to its excessive age I recommend a good going over by a tech. and if needed restoration/repair.
