First year made! 1999 Saab 9-5 SE 2.3t black/tan luxury edition (a $40,000 car in 1999, and drives like it today) with the "best" first-generation B235 motor, runs strong and drives and handles sweetly, dual zone climate control blows cold/hot, sinfully comfortable heated power leather front seats, moonroof, classic car. No check engine lights, but it is exempted by age from NYS emissions; passes safety of course. Great shape, no rust problem.
I would be happiest if the owner knows what a rare and precious car this is, but you will find out even if you want it for a daily driver. People who see you driving it will tell you so.
Have achieved 34 mpg hwy on premium, have always given it premium gas and synthetic oil, have taken her from 140k to 193k appx that way (barn find) and last-gen Saabs like these often go to 300k, needs nothing but love. Has had plenty of it with numerous of the common Saab services, records available.
Former owner no longer needs it and no room. Will miss her, but prefer she ensures as a daily driver for someone who needs one rather than be cut up and melted down due to her age, which however also may give you lower insurance costs. Parts also often modestly priced when available. Older and less tech-bound, easier to wrench on yourself. Vibrant online enthusiast community. You could swap the head unit but a Bluetooth wireless in the cigarette outlet works fine over its beautiful speakers. Clean title. Set of spare wheels and tires in trunk. See pics including those of LR door and quarter panel. Please reach out with any questions. Must go soon, no room.
