IF YOU ARE READING THIS, IT IS STILL AVAILABLE AND WILL ONLY COMMUNICATE THROUGH CL EMAIL. This is an old glass pipette; I believe this is a antique traditional apple cider or wine thief used to retrieve liquid from a wooden barrel for testing. Owned for MANY years. This glass sampler has a long stem, reservoir body and original stopper. These pipettes are now very rare and hard to find as they have been replaced by the plastic ones. "It measures 13 3/4" long X 4" at wide. On the bulb is etched EMPIRE (doubled) GERMANY. It is clear and frosted glass. Excellent condition, just needs light cleaning. A beautiful and unique piece to add to your collection or a great gift for the serious wine collector.
