1991 Peter Mooney "Elite Sport" custom bicycle - $550 (Irvington)

This is a beautifully made steel bike from 1991 with 7 speed Ultegra tricolore (6400?) components. Everything is original except the rear derailleur, which was swapped for LX in 1993 to accommodate an unusual cassette (a normal cassette is now back in place but I left the long-cage derailleur), and the pedals, which are recent vintage SPD-SL. For L’Eroica riders, I can include a pair of excellent early 1990s Shimano 105 clip&strap pedals for $50.
The wheels are particularly nice, with anodized blue rims that match the frame. I can include an extra front wheel for free (Mavic rim, Ultegra hub, not blue).

I ride a 54 typically on modern bikes, if that helps you understand if you will fit this bike.

The Mooney hasn't been ridden in about a decade and I think it's time for it to find a new home with somebody who will be able to put it to use. Shipping bikes is a hassle so I would prefer to sell to somebody locally. If you need it shipped, reach out and we can discuss what that might cost.
