We are seeking positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced motorcyclists who want to inspire and teach new riders.
Our DMV-certified instructors teach both private lessons and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation classes for beginner and experienced riders in order to waive the New York Road Test. We offer weekday and weekend part-time positions at the College of Staten Island location that allows for schedule flexibility from March through December annually.
The Department of Motor Vehicles requirements to become an instructor are:
• Must have motorcycle and car drivers license for 2 years or more (no suspensions or revocations within the past 2yrs).
•Must have less than 7 points on driving record
•Be 21years of age or older
•Must have High School, College Diploma OR GED
•DMV requires no felony convictions
