A black 2000 Peavey Wolfgang is a collectible guitar by Peavey, which followed Ernie Ball. It features a basswood body, maple neck and fingerboard, and was built to Eddie Van Halen's specifications, including Peavey/EVH humbucking pickups, a Floyd Rose tremolo with a D-Tuner.
This guitar is in very good condition. It has a beautiful flame maple neck.
Key features of a 1997 Peavey Wolfgang:
Construction: Basswood body with a maple neck and fingerboard.
Pickups: Two custom-wound humbuckers.
Bridge: Floyd Rose tremolo system with a D-Tuner for quick drop-D tuning.
Controls: Master volume and tone controls, with a 3-way pickup selector switch.
Neck: Graphite-reinforced maple neck with a 25.5" scale length and 22 frets.
Unique details: Some early 1997 models feature a reversed pickup selector, and the back of the headstock may say "Eddie Van Halen patent pending".
Collector's value: The 2000 USA models are considered desirable to collectors. The collaboration between Eddie Van Halen and Peavey was significant, especially after Van Halen's previous partnership with Ernie Ball.
