Director of an Eye Level Learning center is both a challenging and rewarding position. You are the one person ensuring the success of the center as both a business and educational facility. This means ensuring that every child enrolled in our programs is succeeding while also ensuring the center thrives and remains profitable. While it is impossible to list everything a director must do to ensure the success of their center, I have outlined below some key responsibilities that come with the director position:
Existing student progress: You must monitor and review the progress of each and every student enrolled in the program
Sales & registration: you will be the key person in the sales process, from initial call to close of a deal. You must effectively keep track of leads, follow up with leads, and effectively communicate with prospects to close sales.
Center organization and optimization: you must ensure everything in the center is running smoothly, which can include things as little as making sure we have enough paper clips and water cups. This includes inventory and cleaning as well
Record keeping: you must ensure that all records in Jackrabbit are up to date
Accounts receivable: you must collect payments from families who owe money
Scheduling and parent communication: As director, you are the contact person for every parent in the center. You must be ready to answer parent questions about their child and the center policies. You must also be ready to make schedule changes and keep an accurate schedule in Jackrabbit
Employee management: As director, the other teachers will no longer be your coworkers; you will be their superior. You must feel comfortable in this position as you will have to delegate tasks, schedule teachers, and sometimes make decisions that they may not like. It is also important to keep a schedule that is appropriate for the student schedule, and not have too many or too few teachers. You will also have to send teachers home early as the schedule requires.
There is much more that comes with running a center than the tasks listed above, but those are some of the key points that come to mind. Keep in mind the role will come with a little bit of flexibility; as a member of management, you will have a say in deciding policies, programs, pricing, and more for the Staten Island centers.
We have also added a bonus incentive for you to earn even more as the year progresses and as the center earns profits and grows. Bonus potential from running this center can be up to $5,000 per year. We would like for you to share in those successes.
