Hey guys, I’m looking for a small dog or a kitten. My precious baby (grown ass man 🤣) cat needs a sibling 🥺
By small dog I mean a grown, preferably already trained small BREED. I have carpet (& OCD) and I can’t afford to be scrubbing the shit outta them — no pun intended.
I would be open to bigger breeds for protection, but I’m mainly looking for something for emotional support (bc my cat is a jerk). But they HAVE TO COME ALREADY TRAINED. I’m a dog person, but this would be my first time actually having my own dog so idk much about them. Let’s just say, I got my ex a pit-bull as a surprise when we lived together, and the dog bitched me so bad that I had to surrender him until my ex came home.😭 He barked at me on the train on the way home from buying him and I jumped & tightened up so fast.😭 Everyone on the train moved away from us, because they could clearly see that I was NOT in control. And then about a month later, we sold him because he was just too destructive and I couldn’t keep watching my ex “discipline” him 😔💔 He would bite wires and shoes & basically copy my cat, but because he was so big he actually destroyed a lot of expensive stuff that we had.
Sooo basically this would kinda be like a learning experience for me. I don’t want anything I’m going to be scared of or have to beat. And this is also my first apartment so I don’t wanna jeopardize my deposit or my credit 💀 Hence me looking for an ALREADY TRAINED dog that I can also learn from.
I’m not looking for any exotic breeds or specifics. Just something I can love and hold and smother with kisses, that won’t terrorize and bully me. And preferably something that can protect the house ICE (and recent events involving an attempted home invasion and B&E at my last apartment). But idk if I’m ready for that yet.
