Vintage Schwinn Superior in Excellent Condition. This model was directly equivalent to the Schwinn Paramount. Price was similar. The main difference was the choice of Chrome Alloy, this bike, or Reynolds aluminum, $100 less expensive than the Paramount and a couple of pounds heavier,, the main reason was Durability, which proved to be a good choice. Bike was used maybe a dozen times, then put on a training stand for many years, used occasionally,

Original Owner in fabulous condition. Minimally used. Was ordered as custom, professional build by by Bennet's Bicycles, SI, NY. in 1978.

Serial Number GJ808263 and Schwinn Chicago Badge with what appears as stamped numbers: C or T 46 OR 1646

22" Frame, 25" Wheel Diameter. My height is 5'8" and was good.

This is well known hand made, hand brazed Chrome Molydebenum, lightweight internal lugged frame, long discontinued. Additionally, a higher ration rear gear (10th) installed for very high speed when desired. A good racing bike.

Custom options when ordered and built, including:

Shimano Derailleurs and Brakes, Brooks Leather Saddle, etc.

Condition is excellent, everything is exactly as shown in photos.
