Job Overview:
We are natural products Distributor servicing New York City, seeking a reliable Distribution Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while providing excellent customer service.
Previous experience required - previous route/distribution box truck experience delivering to retail accounts, preferably with food & beverage items.
Duties:
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers while obeying traffic laws
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Give and receive invoices from customers
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks
Skills:
- Customer service skills
- Experience driving box trucks in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan
- Ability to load and unload heavy items
- Strong communication skills - Spanish speaking is a plus
- Familiarity with route driving
- Previous experience in food and beverage distribution is preferred
- Familiarity and ability to operate a handheld devise and navigate software - VIP distribution software is a plus
- Warehouse experience is a plus
