This custom furniture company has catered to New York's high end interior design and decoration industry for over twenty years.
We are looking for an experienced furniture maker, with knowledge and skill with all woodworking machinery, traditional solid wood joinery, and veneer work. Career minded, reliable, able to take direction, work efficiently and cleanly, and detail oriented.
Responsibilities
- Fabrication of one of a kind custom pieces from shop drawings
- Produce pieces within given estimates
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment
- Use materials thoughtfully
- Produce work of exceptional quality
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience making stand-alone (not built-in) furniture such as chairs, dining tables, sideboards, etc.
- Good references
