We are casting for the lead role in a micro-budget feature film, La Uma, shooting in Cusco, Peru (late October – early November 2025).
The Role is for:
Diego – Male, 30s. A troubled collage artist who retreats to Peru seeking solitude, but unwittingly unleashes an ancient curse. Emotionally layered role with minimal dialogue - must be able to convey subtle emotions through presence and expression.
The film is: La Uma, a slow burn horror film with minimal locations.
Requirements:
Actor based in New York City
Bilingual: English + Spanish (basic)
Valid passport (international travel required)
Available for 2 weeks late October / early November 2025
Comfortable working on a small, indie production team
Compensation:
Paid role (micro-budget level)
Flight, lodging, on-set meals, and on-set transport covered
