Lionel Type LW Trainmaster 125 Watt Transformer with Original Box - $65 (Astoria)

My father purchased this Lionel transformer at Macy's around 1964.
See the detailed photos for condition. The electrical cord has dried with age and needs replacing,
as is quite common with this particular model. Otherwise, this transformer is in solid shape.
I risked electrocution and plugged it in - the green center dial light lit up well, and there was a bit of electrical hum (see photo).
This transformer worked just fine when we last used it a few years ago, but it has since been in the attic and is otherwise untested.
The bonus Original Box is in good vintage condition. There is some puncture damage to one side of the box - see photos for details.
