I am starting a new structural consulting business in NYC focused on providing fast structural reports, calculations, and DOB-related services to contractors, architects, and property owners.
I am looking to partner with a NY-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) who is interested in steady project work without having to market, find clients, or chase jobs.
The arrangement is simple:
• I bring in the clients and handle all communication and coordination
• You perform the calculations, review plans, and stamp reports
• We split fees on each project (typically 50/50 or agreed per job)
This is ideal for a PE who prefers doing engineering work and not dealing with the business/marketing side.
Goal is to build an ongoing working relationship with consistent project flow.
