Two spots are available at a shared design and fabrication studio in Ridgewood, just off the Halsey L stop.
For designers who want a place to make physical prototypes of their work, and to be around other people doing the same. The studio is approximately 400 sq ft with two levels, three large windows, work surfaces, and professional-grade tools that include:
• 3D printers (Bambu Lab X1 Carbon with AMS & UniFormation GK3 16k Resin Printer)
• Shapeoko 5 Pro 4x2' CNC router
• OMTech 60W Laser Cutter (20x28 Work Area)
• SawStop Contractor Table Saw
• Festool Track Saw, Sander, and Dust Extractor
• Dewalt Stealthsonic Shop Vacuum
• Dewalt Planer
• Soldering station
• Jewelry Kiln
It's a good fit for industrial, product, furniture, architectural, or computational designers; artists; creative technologists; and other hands-on practices. This is a working shared studio, not a private office or polished co-working space, so I’m looking for people who will be thoughtful about tools, space, noise, and each other’s work.
If you're interested, send me some context about yourself and how you'd want to use the space.
