We are a growing supply chain company based in Queens seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Compliance Admin / HR Assistant to support our HR and compliance functions. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced yet supportive environment.

Responsibilities include:
HR Support: Assist with onboarding, maintaining employee records, and ensuring documentation is complete and compliant.
Compliance Monitoring: Help track employee certifications, training requirements, and adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Attendance & Scheduling: Support workforce scheduling, timekeeping, and follow-up on attendance-related matters.
Policy & Procedure Assistance: Maintain organized records of policies, communications, and compliance updates for easy access and audit readiness.
Employee Communication: Serve as a point of contact for routine employee questions, ensuring clear and professional communication.
Reporting: Assist management with HR and compliance-related reports and documentation as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail: Accuracy in handling employee information, compliance documentation, and reporting.
Communication skills: Comfortable working with employees, supervisors, and vendors to address questions and resolve issues.
HR/Compliance knowledge preferred: Familiarity with HR processes, labor laws, or compliance practices preferred.
Technical skills: Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS or compliance tracking systems is a plus.
Experience: Prior HR, compliance, or administrative support experience is preferred, especially in a small business or transportation environment.
