Vtg handmade? banjo in vtg Lyften case. (Case sells for approx $350.)
I bought this banjo in 1967 in a small shop across the street from Lincoln Center NY and next door to O'Neal's Saloon.
The carving and inlaid work suggest it's handmade.
Condition issues:
Banjo: there is splitting of the wood where the 5th peg is, suggesting that the peg was added later.
Case: scratch marks, small rip.

Scruggs pegs. Beautiful solid wood back.
Needs strings.
From a non smoking home.
