Rarely seen 1970's Audix IB01 console channel modules.
Transformer balanced.
Inductor based EQ.
Classic British modules made at the same time and with a similar design to the Neve and Calrec offerings they were competing with.
This auction is for a lot of 3x IB01 modules, one line amp, and additional parts/transformers. One module has both line and mic transformers installed and the gain/sensitivity switch is configured for use as a mic/line pre. The other two were originally configured as line modules but I am including one mic pre transformer and one switch so one of these two can easily be converted. If the buyer wants to convert both finding another transformer and switch is not difficult. I am also throwing in an output amp for spares and an output transformer. Everything is sold as-is and will required assembly and likely a recap.
Most folks dont know these modules because they are somewhat rare but they sound amazing. I would put them up against Neve modules any day. Same input transformers and a similar design though the Audix modules have their own sound. In my opinion they are a bit creamier in the highs and tighter in the low mids/lows. The inductor based EQ design is surprisingly flexible with a unique control layout. 3 bands with 5 frequencies each and a high pass filter with 4 corner frequencies.
