I purchased this guitar as a fixer-upper but I unfortunately do not have the time to take on the work and restore this guitar to its previous glory.
This was a one-owner 1969 Guild F212, purchased new in NYC in 1969. Guild is known for building some of the most highly-desired 12-string guitars during the folk-boom of the 1960s. While Martins are the gold standards for postwar 6-strings, it's the Hoboken, NJ-made Guilds era that are considered the ultimate 12 string instruments!
While this guitar has a little bit of saddle left, and could be sanded down in a pinch to make the action a whole lot better, it will eventually need a neck reset. It additionally has a wear spot from the 60+ years of pickin! The back and sides are pretty exceptionally well kept, and I've done my best to document any scratches or missing finish. Other than that, she seems to be in pretty great shape and will make a lifetime instrument for someone once the repairs are complete.
