condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Guild
model name / number: F-20
This is an exceptionally rare 1957 Guild F-20. Short scale, solid spruce top with maple back and sides- they only made these for three years (they switched to mahogany for the b&s by 1959)- small body (about the size of Martin 0-18). You won't find one in better condition.

Scarce New York City manufacturer label, one of the first 3000 or so guitars ever built by Guild. Excellent condition, no cracks, never needed a neck reset and has great action with amazing tone- it's also extremely loud for the size. I had the binding replaced and the bridge re-glued with a new bone saddle, at Brooklyn Lutherie. I'm the second owner (third if you count the original owner's daughter who inherited the guitar but didn't play it), and have owned this beautiful guitar for 10 years. Would like to pass it along to a musician who will appreciate it.

Short scale (24 5/8") with 1 9/16" nut, c-shaped, full neck: 1st Fret: 22.8 mm (.89 inches), 10th fret: 24.9 mm (.98 inches).

Comes with a newer Guild case. Pick up only, cash only. If this post is up, the guitar is available, no need to ask. Please let me know when you are free to see the guitar- serious inquiries only.
