The guitar has been upgraded with replacement Alnico pickups that sound every bit as good as Fender USA vintage pickups. It has been professionally set up with 11s, rewired with higher-quality wire, and dialed in to play perfectly. Upgraded bridge saddles as well. There’s truly nothing left to do — it’s ready to go. The original picks are included, as are the saddles.
When I received it, it needed work (to put it lightly), but all of that has been properly handled. This is now a solid, great-playing Strat that’s been gone through the right way. Full Disclosure, there is a big chip on the bottom (see photo) Thus the low price. It in no way effects playability and gives you an excuse to try your hand at relicing without guilt.
