We are seeking a skilled Wedding & Event Video Editor who is proficient in DaVinci Resolve to join our post-production team on a freelance/contract basis.
About the Role
The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and emotion, with experience editing wedding films or live events. You should be comfortable working with multicam timelines, syncing audio, color grading, and delivering polished, client-ready films.
Responsibilities
Edit wedding and event footage into highlight films and full-length edits
Sync multicam footage and audio
Perform basic color correction and grading in DaVinci Resolve
Incorporate music, titles, and light sound design
Meet project deadlines and maintain consistent communication
Requirements
Proven experience editing weddings or live events
Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (editing + color workflow)
Ability to follow a creative brief and match an established style
Reliable turnaround times
Strong attention to detail and organization
