I am an accomplished pianist experienced in teaching young and adults, from beginners to advanced. I already have thirty-five years of teaching experience in New York. I have good experience in especially tutoring many gifted and musical children. Pupils of mine have gone to music colleges like the NYU, Eastman University and the Manhattan School of Music, among others. My earliest pupil in 1988 was chosen to audition at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My pupils have been coming from different parts of New York - all the way from Manhattan, Long Island, Bayside, Queens, & New Jersey. I have advanced pupils who participate in various annual piano events of the Associated Music Teachers’ League (AMTL) - like the Mid-season Musicales held in Manhattan and the Young Musicians Concert through competitive auditions at the Steinway Hall in New York City and participated in its concerts at the Weill Recital Hall at the Carnegie Hall. I have had my students annual recitals held in various music halls like the CAMI Hall, Kalayaan Hall of the Philippine Consulate in Manhattan, New York, the Steinway Hall and the Bechstein Piano Center.
I graduated in music majored in piano & composition. I have awards & prizes in winning competitions. I also have collaborated with professional musicians as an accompanist.
