Custom! wood shutters. Opening and closing through a tight sliding of panels. The ones shown in the image are made of Douglas Fir on the perimeter, Common Pine for the side panels, and poplar for the middle divide. No screws used at all. Can be sealed with wax for a small fee. All pieces are jointed and tightly fitting. Differing woods may incur cost.
