Position Summary
A Large community-based Hospital is seeking a dediced and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a focus in Endocrinology to provide high-quality, pient-centered care to individuals with endocrine and metabolic disorders. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaborively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to manage both acute and chronic endocrine conditions in accordance with New York Ste scope of practice. The ideal candide is clinically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex endocrine conditions while delivering compassione, evidence-based care.
Responsibilities
Schedule / Shift:
- Full-Time Day
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Provide comprehensive evaluion, diagnosis, and management of pients with endocrine disorders, including but not limited to diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic conditions.
- Perform pient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized trement plans.
- Prescribe medicions and therapies in accordance with New York Ste regulions and institutional guidelines.
- Educe pients and families on disease processes, trement plans, medicions, lifestyle modificions, and preventive care.
- Maintain accure, timely, and compliant medical documention in the electronic medical record.
Educion:
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing
- Current New York Ste licensure as a Nurse Practitione
- DEA License
- Nional Certificion as a Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP)
- Clinical experience in Endocrinology strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of endocrine disease management and evidence-based practice
- Excellent communicion, organizional, and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience managing complex endocrine and metabolic conditions
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documention systems
