R40 is looking for a prep cook who can also work the line during service a couple times a week. This role starts with daytime prep and rolls directly into dinner service, so it’s ideal for someone who likes putting in a full shift and being part of both sides of the kitchen.
Schedule
Wednesday – Saturday
Daytime prep → Dinner service Friday, Saturday, possible brunch weekends
Responsibilities
Daily prep: vegetables, sauces, proteins, and general production
Clean, organized knife work and station management
Supporting service on the line during dinner
Maintaining strong kitchen cleanliness and organization
What we’re looking for
Solid knife skills and prep experience
Comfortable working both prep and line
Reliable and able to keep pace during service
Someone who works well in a small, tight team
