All outputs work, display bright, crisp, no major issues.
Clean, with remote. Remote works fine, too.
This TP-117 also has a wonderful sounding Analog Phono Output, for a turntable.... hard to find in more modern amps / pre-amps
I've owned it for 16yrs. Run with my ADCOM 545 amp. Very clean sound.... waaay better than ADCOM pre-amps.
Overall a terrific sounding pre-amp + sensitive tuner. Top of the line, late 1990's ($1,250). Hand-built in Japan.
Works great, but balance knob has static & often cuts out from left to right speaker.
An easy fix, with electrical contact spray, from inside unit. Using contact spray from outside unit works only temporarily.
Honesty is always the best policy.
I'd open it up & clean all 3 'pots' but don't want to be bothered.
