We are seeking 3K / Pre-K Preschool Lead Teacher to join our organization, ABC Preschool & Kindergarten! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Become familiar with the Creative Curriculum
• Assess the children’s developmental areas with Teaching Strategies GOLD
• Plan and implement developmentally age-appropriate activities.
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a study plan towards NYS Teacher Certification or Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education towards NYS Teacher Certification.
• NYS Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education Preferred.
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
