Flushing afterschool is looking for experienced Math teachers to teach Summer school (SHSAT and SAT). Currently hiring knowledgeable, reliable, and compassionate Middle school / high school teachers for our Academic Summer school located in Flushing. Help students in group settings in SHSAT MATH State test, SAT prep teaching experience preferred.
Teaching students in person classroom environment Monday to Friday half a day or full day. Work closely with the Director to meet students' individualized academic needs, goals, and interests.
Keep detailed records of each student's progress and using Student Progress Records and/or relevant forms
Required education:
Is a current student teacher; or pursuing a teaching certificate; or has teaching experience
Bachelor's degree in education is required.
Holds a valid NY State teaching certificate or the equivalent preferred.
