This Hall of Famer has a special place in baseball history. He is the only one to have played for 20 years. managed for 20 years and owned a team for 20 years. He played under the legendary Hall of famer Cap Anson, and managed the legendary Hall of Famer Walter Johnson. He owned Griffith stadium where the Washington Redskins played, and owed the Washington Senators who later became the Minnesota Twins in 1960. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1946 and passed away in 1955. His family owned the Twins until 1984 when they sold.
