This is a great frame that is very stylish and always stands-out. I love it, but it it time it gets a new home.
The ad/sale is for the frame, fork, brake calipers (without pads), owners manual, & new flat fenders (pair) that came with the bike & never used.
A photo shows a complete bike only so you can see it assembled. Other images are the geometry chart and what the fender looks like when installed, (It's a stock photo found online since mine were never installed).
Original name: Masi Soulville 3. It was $785 as a complete bike when new. This has chromoly tubing, some double-butted, making this much lighter, ride better, and a higher class than other 'klunker', cruiser style bikes, Schwinn Speedster type frames, ('Double-butted' means thinner to save weight, but thicker in areas where strength is needed = more expensive to build). Retro styling à la Retrotec, Van Dessel WTF, Linus Rover Black Sheep, Oddity, Stooge, etc.
You don't see things like this often. I love it, but haven't used it for a while. It's tough to let go.
A frame builder can even put disc brake tabs on if you want.
Common sizing / standardized construction, so there is no struggle to find parts.
Specs:
Frame size = 18",
Uses 700c wheels, For tire clearance, the openings are about 2".
Fork = 1.1/8,
Seatpost size = 27.2mm w/included shim (that's how it came).
Bottom bracket shell = Euro / BSA, threaded.
I'm the original owner. New, it was a 3-speed coaster brake, then I made it a 1x8 with a derailleur, (it's 135mm O.L.D. spacing). I also had it with an Alfine 11sp IGH, & as a single speed.
You can make this almost anything you want.
Extra info: The frame has threaded inserts for 2 waterbottle cages, guides for full cable housing to the rear dropout, rack & fender mounts (with holes in the front of the fork dropout also for a rack or whatever (very helpful and rare). Some nicks, blems, from general use.
Location: Briarwood (Queens), NY; near Qns Blvd bike path, major highways, E/F subway. Will ship if you pay shipping.
