Includes two 500Wh batteries. The range of this efficient Yamaha mid-drive motor is insane even for a single battery, especially if you stay in "Eco" mode.
Condition: Mechanically I think it's excellent. Visually it's not perfect - it has some scuffs and scratches, mainly from a fall I had (that didn't seem to affect anything else) and from hitting the door while trying to carry it outside.
Why I'm selling: I'd love to keep it around, but it's just not practical for me due to its weight. Even on a one floor walkup it is annoying to carry up/down through narrow corridors and doors. At the moment this bike is mostly sitting around and taking up valuable space in my room. Moreover, I've bought a lighter bike that I've been using exclusively for months now.
It currently has only 140 miles registered in its odometer.
If you are considering this, please note the weight. I personally do not suggest this for a walkup building. However, if you have the muscle, or a ground-floor apt, or a bike room, or a big elevator, then go for it!

It should also include the yamaha 5 year warranty https://www.yamahabicycles.com/warranty-overview/ - my dealer was Velofix. According to this website: "Transfer of Warranty. Transfer of the warranty from the original purchaser to any subsequent purchaser is possible by having the Yamaha Power Assist Bicycle inspected by an authorized Yamaha Power Assist Bicycles dealer and requesting the dealer to submit a change of registration to Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. within ten (10) days of the transfer." If you don't want to deal with that, I'm happy to just have you use my name in the event you need the warranty, or we can contact Velofix to see if they can just transfer it easily to you.

RULES FOR IN-PERSON PURCHASE
You can pay cash or via venmo / Zelle / cashapp.
You will not get on and test-ride the bike before the exchange above happens. So if you want to test it out, I suggest cash in hand: you give me the cash, I hold on to it, and you are free to test ride for as long as you like, while I stick around.
No test-riding by just giving me your ID card. Will need cash per above.
Similarly If you want to pay via venmo / zelle / cashapp, you need to send the money first within the app, and then you can get on the bike.
Specifically for Zelle, you MUST show me your name on your ID, and post-payment I will confirm that the name that shows up in my incoming zelle transaction is the same.
If you want to meet for a purchase, please acknowledge that you've read the rules above by mentioning it in your message.
