single copy of "Salvation Lassie of Mine". The Lassies were known as dough girls bec they served fresh doughnuts to the soldiers on the front lines during WWI. Words and music by Jack Caddigan and Chick Story, writers of "The Rose of No Man's Land" and "In the Old Sweet Way". Published by Herman Darewski Music Publishers of London, Inc. Printed in 1919 by Leo. Feist, Feist Building, New York. Ads on back of song sheet include "Sing on to Victory with Songs of Cheer" for Camp Fireside, Liberty Songs for Camp, Home and Community Singing, including a list of Contents for that publication. Also advertised on back is "SONGS The Soldiers and Sailors Sing" and "Liberty Songs for Mixed Voices". Will ship for free.
TWO other booklets are included in pics. (The Counselor, written by Evangeline Booth and printed in March of 1929, and From Slums to Kingdom the world service of Evangeline BOOTH by Arthur E Anderson printed in 1951). Inquire about them separately, if interested.
