A painting by G.A.Riddle has shown work at the Everson Museum, Syracuse,NY, Munson Williams Utica, NY, A 0ne man show in Fayetteville, NY/. Has been painting for over 50 years, working with Acrylics and oil for the most part. Also a maker on unique wooden bowls. Studied at Syracuse University & Whittier College Ca. Also overseas at the U7S in 1963-64.....

This resent study of Murder in the Bowery was a vision that turned as I Painted the composition. It is meant to make a statement of what's happening in America and TV which is showing in prime time an unprecedented amount of violence.
I hope you see this as a composition of ART not what it necessarily depicts.
